Chris, Ashley, and Amelia

Week 1 vs Week 6

Two weeks already!  Time is flying by / is a giant haze wherein I have no idea what day it is. But aside from moderate sleep deprivation, being a mommy is amazing… it’s still hard to believe that this adorable little baby is mine.

Amelia is growing like crazy, stretching out her long legs so that her feet finally reach the bottom of her pjs. At her two week checkup she weighed 8lbs 3oz (up from 7lbs 1oz at birth). She’s got big blue eyes and looks more and more like her daddy every day.

This week’s highlights: getting Amelia’s tongue tie fixed at the dentist (my nipples are thankful), spending a day at grandma and grandpa Nix’s house, and the inaugural walk in the stroller (we went to Starbucks, the mall, and the grocery store, and she slept the. entire. time.) Plus lots of cuddles. Oh and her first head-to-toe, in-the-tub bath! She liked it for a little while.
